Great spot for fab food. We stopped on our way from NC to PA during the hottest temps of the summer. Clean, friendly and excellent meatloaf sandwich!
They had the fluffiest omelette I have ever eaten! It was delicious, light, airy! The rye toast was awesome too! Definitely order the country boy omelette and enjoy with their hot coffee!! Thank you for a great stopping point on my way home!
I tried the classic burger and would rate it a 3.8/5. The bun was a bit sweeter than I expected, which made it interesting, though perhaps not quite to my personal taste. That said, the service and atmosphere were excellent — both easily a 5/5.

Everytime I visit troutville I stop at this diner. They have nice seating outside and the staff are always very nice. Reasonably priced food and always delicious. The last few times I have gone I've eaten the sunrise burger and it never dissapoints. Try the Mac n cheese, so good! Great service and great food and I'm always in and out for my lunch time stops.

We were looking for a quick stop for lunch while traveling and stumbled on Angelle's Diner. Immediately had a Waffle House deja vu moment when pulling into the parking lot and going inside (you'll understand when you go there). Was pleasantly surprised by the menu offerings with so many options that will please most anyone. Ordered the fish sandwich with fries on the side and both were quickly served and hot. Was a very good lunch and this will now be our primary lunch stop when traveling to NC. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu.
Food is delicious. Service was fast. Server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu when asked. They combined the fries as a space saving convince without us having to ask.
Just found Angelle's for a quick breakfast (that wasn't a chain or fast food) visiting a supplier up here. I am SO glad I found this lil gem! All the young ladies were smilin and were immediate to greet me and without pressure, take my order. The atmosphere was light and super pleasant. I watched them all navigate through the many breakfast orders coming and going, and as well mine came out promptly. Sitting at the counter, I could see all the fresh and real ingredients being used, the careful and clean handling, but also the enjoyment the ladies had working together and helping all the customers. The food was incredible, and sitting where I did, I was able to see all the other dishes folks ordered and all I can say is dang, I wish I ordered all that food too! I ordered a Meat Lover Omelette with added gravy and it was spectacular, eggs were super fluffy and all the ingredients had fresh and quality taste. While eating, I was able to see the waffles and pancakes and just have to say WOW, those looked awesome too. I will certainly be back, but I have to shamelessly say if you're even remotely close by, you NEED to stop here and eat. Your only disappointment would be like mine was, being that I got full but wanted to order and eat more! 😁
